State of the City 2026 - Broadcast Version
The 2026 State of the City address, hosted by MC Anthony Tordillos and delivered by Mayor Emily Ann Ramos, celebrated Mountain View's community volunteers and outlined the city's plans and investments under the theme 'building the Mountain View of tomorrow together.' Mayor Ramos announced a potential November 2026 revenue measure (possibly a general obligation bond) to fund infrastructure, public safety, affordable housing, and parks, and provided an update that boil water restrictions from the Cuesta water main contamination had been lifted. She also highlighted progress on transportation, sustainability, economic development, downtown revitalization, public art, affordable housing projects, upcoming sporting events, and cultural inclusion initiatives.
